Commencement of the IVF programme.
- You will be given a combination of oral tablets and low dose injections to stimulate your ovaries.
- The aim is to stimulate 4 to 6 follicles, leading to at least 2 to 4 mature eggs and subsequently creation of 2 to 3 embryos for transfer.
- Gentler stimulation will not only result in better quality eggs, your womb will be more receptive to the implantation of the fertilised eggs.
